N.B: Certain characters have been aged up to adapt to the nature and themes of this story. Not to forget to mention a good old-fashioned battle climax scene to rescue the heirs of Clan Dunbroch. Set on the landscapes of the Scottish Highlands, my version of Brave will be much darker than the Disney animation: a depiction of Highlander culture riddled with history, politics, mystery, magic and mythology. She has to prove that her sex isn’t a disadvantage and that she’s just as capable as any man. Before they can follow her, she must earn their respect and that is easier said than done. Cruella (101 Dalmatians) (May 28, 2021) The origin story of villain Cruella de Vil is the focus of this Disney live-action movie, Cruella, scheduled to release on. While we didn’t hear the iconic Have courage and be kind quote until the live-action version of Cinderella was released, Cindy has. She’s a great archer and a young woman, but more importantly she’s a lady.

Each clan has some quarrel with another, and she must make them see past their grievances and do what needs to be done. When Merida’s younger brothers: Hamish (Tom Holland), Harris (Logan Lerman) and Hubert (Asa Butterfield) are kidnapped by English mercenaries, Merida must unite the the clans and bring the perpetrators to justice. She’s a sharp-shot archer but rebellious daughter of Queen Elinor (Michelle Fairley) and King Fergus (Brian Blessed). While her mother, Elinor (Emma Thompson), tries to teach Merida. The majority of Braves voice cast is ostensibly Scottish, with the legendary Glaswegian comedian Billy Connollys inclusion being especially Scottish.

Headstrong and intrepid, Merida challenged her kingdoms longstanding traditions to live a life of independence. She is a Scottish princess from the kingdom of DunBroch, the daughter of Queen Elinor and King Fergus, and the older sister of Harris, Hubert, and Hamish. Set in Scotland during the 1740s, my interpretation of Brave features a young Scottish princess called Merida (Sophie Skelton). The princess in this case is Merida (Kelly Macdonald), Scottish princess of Clan DunBroch. Merida (Kelly Macdonald), the impetuous but courageous daughter of Scottish King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson), is a skilled archer who wants to carve out her own path. Princess Merida is the protagonist of DisneyPixars 2012 animated feature film, Brave.
